The smoke sauna at Myllytorppa
In the heat of the smoke sauna you can travel in time a hundred years. The characteristic scent and the soft heat that make the smoke sauna famous are created when the sauna is slowly heated before the guests arrive.
When the stones are hot and the fire is out, the carbon monoxide is cast out by tossing water to the stove. Now the smoke sauna is ready for guests.
The shed sauna
The second sauna of Myllytorppa is built in the old shed from the 1800’s. In the shed sauna you can find a spacious dressing room, a fridge for refreshments, showers and a great sauna, of course. Between the heat you can go and cool of on the soft grass of Myllytorppa courtyard.
Kapinasauna at Erämaailma
Only the squirrels and woodpeckers can hear when the sauna stove hisses. The massive rock stove gives you sharp and long-lasting heat. Traditionally the benches are made of thick waned planks.
Dipping in the wood heated hot tub refreshes your body and mind. The peaceful forest and the open sky create a perfect setting for the bathing experience.
If ordered in advance it is also possible to refresh in a cool tub instead of a hot tub.
